🖨️ How do I print the chords or save it as a PDF?
To print any song on WorshipChords, just click the 🖨️ printer icon OR "Print / Save as PDF" on the song page.
You can print chords and lyrics together, or just the lyrics — exactly how they appear on the screen.
This works on both desktop and mobile, and gives you the flexibility to print or save as a PDF using your device’s print settings.
Let's explore how it works, as well as how to customize it all...
🎹 Want to Print in a Different Key?
Yes! Just use the key changer above the lyrics to select your desired key before hitting print.
The song will print in whatever key is currently selected.
✅ This gives you a custom printout tailored to your team’s needs or vocal range.
đź” Want a Larger or Smaller Font?
You have two options:
- Adjust the font size on the page itself using the font size controls (before printing).
- Use your browser’s print settings to change the zoom or scale in the print dialog.
Both work well. What you see is what you print.
📝 Want to Print Just the Lyrics?
Click the “Lyrics Only” toggle on the song page to hide the chords. You can always click "Show Chords" to display the chords again.
Toggle it on or off before printing — whatever is visible on the page is what will be printed.
đź’ľ Want to Save as a PDF?
Yes, you can also save your song as a PDF using your browser’s built-in print dialog:
- In Chrome or Edge: Click the printer icon, then in the Destination field, choose “Save as PDF”
- In Safari: Click File > Print, then click the PDF dropdown in the lower-left corner and select “Save as PDF”
- On mobile: Your phone or tablet may give you a Share or Save to Files option instead of printing — this can often save as a PDF too
📌 Just remember: WorshipChords does not generate or send PDFs — this option is built into your browser or device.
🧾 What Will Be Included on the Printed Page / Saved PDF?
What shows up depends on your browser’s print settings, not WorshipChords itself.
Here’s what you can control:
- Headers and footers: You can usually turn these off in the print dialog (look for a checkbox in More Settings).
- Orientation: Switch between portrait or landscape as needed.
- Margins and scale/zoom: Customize for better spacing or size.
📌 This is all managed in your browser’s print dialog — WorshipChords doesn’t control or generate these elements.
❓How Do I Remove the Date and Page Title from the Printout?
By default, your browser may include things like the date, page title, or website URL in the header or footer of the printed page. These are not added by WorshipChords—they’re controlled by your browser’s print settings.
If you want a cleaner look (with just the chords and lyrics), you can easily turn this off:
🔧 In Chrome or Edge:
- Click the printer icon on the song page
- In the print dialog, click “More settings”
- Uncheck the box next to “Headers and footers”
🍎 In Safari:
- Go to File > Print
- Click the “Show Details” button if needed
- Uncheck “Print headers and footers”
This will remove any extra info at the top or bottom of the printed page.
📌 Reminder: These settings are controlled by your browser—not by WorshipChords.
📱 Does It Work on Mobile?
Yes! We’ve tested printing and PDF saving on desktop and mobile, and both work great. Just follow the print prompts your device gives you after clicking the printer icon.
